Stable Moments® was founded in October 2014 by Rebecca Britt, a social worker passionate about helping children heal from complex trauma. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2010, Rebecca worked as a Post-Adoption Case Manager, where she recognized the powerful connections between trauma interventions for children and effective mentorship.

Rebecca developed the Stable Moments mentorship model to provide long-term, trauma-informed support to children facing developmental challenges. She now offers this model as a practical curriculum, available to organizations nationwide, helping create stable, supportive relationships that foster resilience.
